That's about 50% attenuation - so with a set of Nightbreakers it will be as bright as normal...

MOT might be a problem but I am sure it will come off with a bit of chrome polish...

I thought there prob to wide for an envelope, no offence taken new is always best, try that metal cast spray its in the cosmetic bible bit I think in the stickys, that looks like it works really well

nothing wrong with spraying them as am not the only one on here who has. got bright bolbs in an dont make a diff to them not been sprayed. for mot yer might not pass but will hopefully have vento front end by that time. or will just go to scrap yard an pick up a pair just to pass it.

Can you take a pic of the indicators on so I can see how much light they give off?
If you ate going to keep the indicators like that put a coat of clear coat over them atleast so they have abit of shine to them

Sort of thing that you would get a tug off of VOSA from (just saying).

I can't tell if that's paint or vinyl on those lights.. but i'm not into it. it looks like you've gone a good job keeping it all lined up and such, but i still think it just will look like a bit of a tacky bodge job, no matter what color stripes its got. don't mean to be horrible haha but the topic does say "what do ya think"
