how big are the rust spots? are they just surface rust spots of holes that have gone through?

just surface rust im pretty sure, it would probably be better if i took pictures

its slight rust on the sills, slight rust on the arches, a decent size spot inside the door, and along the top of the windsheild

I say leave the rust there your car is how old??? If she looks like she has had a hard like then that's how she wants to look all you have to to us love her and keep her road legal

My little mk3 is not the best looking but she is nearly 13 years old as long as she gets me to work and I can do my bit to keep mk3 on the road

You may not agree with me but that's up to you

13? Surely the youngest ones around are at least 15 this year, didn't they stop in 1997? Might be wrong
