8v delayed power when you boot it

Hey guys im all in a cuffufle every time I put my foot down in my mk2 to leave a sh!troen saxo for.dust I keep getting a delay in power it revs high but then the speed kicks in and the engine slows. Its like a slipping clutch basically but iv done the old handbrake trick and it pulls fine, oh and  its mainly in 2nd n 3rd pls can somone fill me in

Stop racing Saxos and get a second opinion on the clutch.

Clutch. There's your second opinion.

Think about it, revs rise, road speed doesn't. What is the only component between the flywheel and the gearbox?

Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Mine does this when the cable need adjusting about once every 12 Months as its a manual adjusting clutch cable... :angry:
