5 stud conversation

This has probably been done before, so sorry if i'm repeating but does anyone know how easy it is and what parts are involved to convert from 4 to 5 studs using parts rather than wheel adapters? I've got a late mk3 estate and have agreed to buy some 4 stud alloys off of here but the guy has never got back to me, so i'm thinking of gti wheels instead?

There is some one on here who offered me all the stuff to do it for £100 but did not have the cash at the time so had to turn it down will see if I can find the email and pm you

For what it will cost plus the work involved your better off staying with 4 stud.

Really  thousands of choices in 4 stud all / most look better than GTI rims.

This is true there are thousands of choises for 4 stud rims but sometimes you find a rims that only comes out on 5 study,like the rs4 look a likes out there,and have no choise other than to do a conversion.

 I do believe the term " adapt or die " fit nicely here
4x100 to 5x100 adapters are cheap as now days..... But why as there's plenty of better wheels on 4x100 ...
