I know a place in south Wales that could probably do it for you, but it's a long way for you

Isn't it a blue roof on the Coco Channel? Why don't you get a blue Mohair, that would be cool

What about buying a blue mohair roof and a packet or 2000 of some Letraset? Bingo, problem solved.

Stitching the roof should be possible, it's rips or tears that will be hard to fix without being seen, I'd suggest looking in the yellow pages for a local coach trimmer as they will be best to advise of what they can do, but if it's just stitching then that should be easy enough to do for a professional. I saw a CC at Inters and I know what you mean by the roof, that will be rocking horse droppings to find and I can see why you'd want to keep it original.  Good luck.
......now officially dubless.
