Golf mk2 help needed!

Hello

I have just bought some original vw rubber mats for my golf mk2. They have two holes at the bottom of the driver side mat, but nothing on my seat to attatch the mat to. Is there something missing?

Any help appreciated!

 But with rubber mats you don't really need them...
