Has anyone here attempted to tackle lens fungus themselves?

Otherwise, can anyone recommend a decent lens cleaning service?

I'm curious to know how you notice if a lens has fungus or not?  Is it really obvious or something?

It depends how far gone it is.



Mine is like that, but because it's so old it's gone dark.

It's an old Canon FT lens that I've managed to get an adapter for.
