CAN ANYBODY HELP??????? DOES ANYBODY NO WHAT TO DO?
i am looking for a genuine company that can help with a miss sold mortgage.
my mother has cancer and is also not very good with paperwork and things. she got a mortgage about 8 years ago to buy her council house at the reduced rate of only £30.000. she has bee paying now for 8 years but the company recon she still owes about £100.000 when the mortgae in the first place was only £40.000. she has blatantly been taken advantage of and the mortgage ends in 1 year.
she does not have enough money to go to a soliciter and i am useless with anything like that as i dont understand most of it. other people have said yes it looks like they have just taken advantage of her.
she has lived in her house her entire life as she took it over from her mother. the house is her lifes work and it is everything to her. she has spent 50 years making it what it is.
she has just spent the last 2 years recovering from cancer and has now just been told they think it has come back so she really needs help and we do not no where to go or what to do.
any help welcome. we have tried lots of mis-sold mortgage online companys but most of them are just con artists. does anybody no any  genuine companys that can help.

any help or advice welcome.

Get yourself and her to the Citizens Advice Bureau.

They are free and helpful and independent, if strapped for time.

Take the paperwork with you, because you're not making much sense on here.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

You need to pop into a citizens advice, its free and they will point you in the right direction. A good solicitor will win there own fee back if they feel you have a propper case so I wouldnt worry about that. You can also approach most solicitors directly and have an informal chat for free to find out if they think they can sort it, its only if you sign a engagement letter that they can start charging
