looked oryt at first untill i saw it had peices of hosepipe and drainage in the engine bay. surely thats not standard

The drainage is pretty standard, the hosepipe is just engine breather.

ah ok, dont really know much about those engines so wouldnt of had a clue what it was, just thought it was a bit of a dogey job using hosepipe and drainage pipe

Hose pipes, a favourite bodge by my uncle when in a pinch and needing to use his beetle or 'fix' my mothers

Hose pipes are very useful short term fixes for mk2 water pipes... they are a perfect fit for one of the pipes that went on both my old mk2s

I seen an old boy put hose pipe on his rusted montego wheel arches then he smoothed them in with body filler,hose pipes are very useful to some
