If you want around that power then the k04 would be the best bet as you will get responsive power where as if you go for the t3 you could get alot more power but most prob will have alot more lag.

How come you stopped making the mani for the ihi?

i havent the manifold is almost done its what flange i want to chuck on the end im used to my ford days i had a 300hp 2.1 16v fiesta turbo that was ridiculous its just that the turbo off it is coming up for sale that was on it a hybrid t3 was just putting the idea out there ive got loads going on at the min im still developing or trying a cheap alternative to a good front mount and trying to build this manifold plus moving job as of monday so im hectic just want to see if anyones done it on a 1.8t

Nice I bet that festa flue! Will be keeping a eye on your front mount progress as would maybe loooking to get a better one for mine in the furture.

I reckon with the 1.8 you will get quite alot of turbo lag using the t3, im sure its been done before. Imo I think you should stay with the ihi as you can get around the same power but much less lag.

Ive just made a manifold to fit a mhi to my golf just in the last stages before i taking it to get mapped. Thats another good turbo to look at, stronger than the ihi's but still can be big power with fast spool up, hoping for 320-350 from my setup.
