My magic gti 8v is fun, but I drive loads on really rough backroads and seem to end up driving like some old lady, just so i don't knacker my car on some pot holed road. If the council could fix all our roads then

but they don't. I live in the middle of beyond (my jobs fault, not by choice) and the wifes 1.2 clio seems to fly along the roads with it gay french suspension. Got me golf and it was already lowered, think the last geezer chucked in some lowering springs only, now the ride is stiff as hell and i really think my car spends more time in the air than on the ground.....................................
When the tarmac is like a babies behind then

but this seems to be just big boring A roads with cameras and police every 10 mins.
All this makes me think to get some coilover milarky on the go or source some original gti springs and slap them in. Has anyone got any ideas on how to make a golf handle well on lumpy roads?
