Name That Suspension Part
« on: 21 April 2012, 21:13 »
I don't usually venture over here onto dry land as I spend most of my time in the mk3 section but I am after some advise please as I don't know much about Mk2 suspension.

I bought some mk2 Koni shocks off another forum member to fit to my mk3 and have a few bits left over which I think might be worth a bit of beer money. Just after confirmation they are what I think they are before I put them in the Classified section and I make a tit of myself advertising them as something they are not.

Firstly we have these which are stamped JOM which I am assuming are JOM lowering caps. Was thinking £12 posted.

Then we have these which are marked by Bonrath DS-2-FS which I am assuming are some kind of polyurethane top mount. The bearings are stamped DS/FS by Bonrath and have surface corrosion but spin freely. Not really sure what these are worth £10-£12 posted or maybe scrap not sure.

Finally we have these which I am assuming are some kind of polyurethane bump stop but not 100% as traditional bump stops were also fitted to the rear. Not sure if they are worth anything?
The red ones are marked 60064 and the yellow ones KON BSO1.

Thanks in advance.

Spring caps, top mounts and bumpstops by the look of it.

Best place for 'em is in the bin.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.
