water leaking still

ok so following on from the water leaking after my thermostat replacement ive just been out and refitted the whole thing METICULOUSLY i even used some instant gasket sealant stuff.

However after the engine had warmed up to 90 theres water peeing out still    upon closer inspection it doesn't seem to be leaking out from around the thermostat housing not that you could see 100% but i dont think so, so whats the chance its leaking from somewhere else? if the water pump had failed would that be leaking? also it seems to be too much water leaking out if it was a miniscuke gap around the housing which leads me to think its something else.

i am on the verge of breaking point and not far off taking it to a garage unless someone comes up with a bright idea?!

If you are confident about the stat refit then it must be from somewhere else.

Dont like the sound of using gasket sealant there though pal  aint there an o-ring? plus you dont want bits of sealant flowing round your system.

try drying everything off then putting something like a paper towel down near the leak, it may let you see where its coming from.

If it only leaks when up to temp then it is on the "rad" side of the stat as it will be closed until this point.

Have you checked the condition of the hose that goes onto the thermostat, it may have a split in the hose if youve tighted the jubilee clip to tight.

As above, dont use gasket sealant as the rubber O-ring should be enough. May need to take the thermostat off and check the O-ring is seated right.
