engine coolant sensor low.

just plugged a code reader in my car that i got of fleebay dont work by the way.so a mate had one he said i could have,the fault that came up was engine coolant temp sensor to low.and my airbag light is on and says drivers side airbag igniter short circuit to earth, tried to reset them but they just come back on.how can i sort these out,thanks ste

Which one did you get off ebay? link? What year is your car?

You need a new temp sensor and to find the airbag fault.

the one of fleebay is faulty so will send it back,the one of my mate is a vw one that he used his self as he is an auto electrician,and it tells you what the fault is not just the codes,my drivers seat is badly worn right through and my mate said that could be the problem,but he has not looked at it himself as he is away,it said the airbag has a bad earrth so just wanted to no were to look for a fault with the wires.

Check the wires / plug under the seats  :smiley:
