Hi all,
Just thought I would nip in and say hi, I've got a MK6 at the moment, but have to give it back (Company car) so I'm looking to get myself something as a stop gap until I can afford another MK6.
I'm thinking a Mk3 or Mk4 at the moment, was originally thinking about a derv, a GT TDI or something, but I'm now considering Mk4 1.8T's or MK3 16V's. Basically a new daily until I get a decent paid job and can get something proper nice on HP.
I'm a little limited in that I want something that's been cared for and I only have £1200
at the moment, although I'm trying to save some more money at the moment.
Main requirement is something that isn't going to cost me more than I've got, so something that's already got an MOT.
I've got my eye on a couple in the classifieds, but they are just out of reach at the moment, a lot by price but also a lot by distance.
I'm currently driving my other car around which is an 06 plate Touran, but this is supposed to be for the Mrs to do the school run as we've got 3 kids. I'm basically borrowing it back from her until I get something sorted.
Anyways, just thought I would say Hi and that I hope to be GTI'd up soon
