im swaping grils on the gti top 1 where vw badge is
any pointers on how to remove ?
bumper off job ?

Its really simple, youll need a torque screwdriver. Open the bonnet and there are 2 screens which hold the top bit it. Then get on your hands and knees (weeeheeey) and then look through the bottom under the grille and you will see two more screw. Once they are all off the grille will simple slide out.
Im sure if you do a Google search you will find a "how to" with photos but its very easy.

Screws at the bottom are small phillips heads, they sit just under the number plate housing so can be a bit of a b!tch to spot. When you have all the screws out slowly pull it up and forwards, don't yank it as the tabs at the bottom snap easily.
