rubbing on anti roll bar by the drivshaft !!

I drive a golf v5 2.3 2002 it is lowered 35 mm but for some reason it rubs on the passenger side ,the rubbing is comming from the driveshaft touching the antiroll bar and it only happens on one side. Also there is a slight knocking from the drivers side over some bumps. ive been told that the strut as gone so will that solve the problem!! please help guys

you need a different ARB. either one that goes under the driveshaft (octavia vrs, golf r32 or whiteline) or one with bigger hoops (eibach, neuspeed). Lots of different options out there, a quick search should bring up plenty of info.

it looks like they are new already !! but will these that you have said solve it

do a search buddy you'll find more information than i can give (aka, i can't be arsed to type it all out ) , try google as well as just the forum search. The ARB/driveshaft rubbing has always been an issue with lowered mk4s, and they've been around since 1998 so as you can imagine there is tons of info out there.
