battery removal

Ok, feeling particularly useless having to ask, but needing to thread a wire through the wire harness behind the battery, but cannot seem to figure out how the battery is secured.
 
How do I remove the battery and holder?

This is for the MK5, so hopefully things haven't changed too much in the MK6 setup:

Theres a clamp and bolt to the left of the battery as you stand in front of the car.
