Mk5 GTi 2.0 TFSI remap gains?
« on: 13 December 2011, 21:55 »
Hi all,

i have just recently acquired a mk5 golf gti 2.0 tfsi with an AXX engine code..

im looking at getting it mapped in the new year, just wondering what kind of tuner would be best?

as far as i can see the car is pretty much stock, its got an uprated downpipe and pre cat removal.

what kind of gains would i see bhp and torque wise?

thanks in advance!

with a stage 1 map your looking at 230-250bhp. if you gave a down pipe then you will be better off with a stage 2 map.

try revo or super chips bluefin or some of the site vendors on here. carbon chip and r-tech get excellent feedback.

Where are you located mate and are you looking for a mobile tune or dyno?  We're in West Yorkshire and can offer either.

JKM are superb, they don't write their own remaps anymore but sell REVO, Bluefin and APR.  they chain,y know their stuff and have a top notch Dyno.
