I take it you are aware the NC10 has a partition on the hardrive for recovery?

Yeaah cheers. Hard drive had died. Just used a general OEM XP Home disc.

Ahhhh ok bummer was away to say yeh just try a normal xp or vista disk i put vista on the missus old 1 when she had it and upgarded the ram and it worked fine

haha yeh the joys... what a diff the 2gb ram makes compared to 1gb

Cracking little thing, might get one with my phone contract in June. Unless something like the EEE tablet comes out with proper Windows.
