This is the one i have purhased:

Fingers crossed it arrives before the weekend. It looks god quality and should be simple to install as long as i can remove all the existing melted wires. :undecided:

Looks fine for you as it only operates the headlights and doesn't include spots that you don't have.

Yea should do the job. :smiley:

Ive got a mint quad grill in my wardrobe that i might put on as the wiring and connectors are in the loom and ready to plug and play... as long as they are not singed from the fire! Roll on Saturday morning!

Wardrobe?  :grin:  yeah that's where most people keep their spares isn't it??? That and Skeletons.

Well just remember that your spots will be running on the OEM loom and not the uprated stuff.  I wouldn't;t worry about the spots for now until you are confident that the headlights are OK because at the moment it isn't exactly certain what caused the issue in the first place.

Yea ive only just moved to Henley so have mk2 bits all over the place.. you know how it is lol.

Thanks for the advise mate. The loom arrived yesterday so well impressed!

I am a bit concerned that the female plug (fusebox plug) that the new headlight loom plugs into has melted so i may need to get a new fusebox plug or just snip off the new headlight loom plug and splice the wires together which could be a nightmare.. any ideas!?

Confused, fusebox plug? you mean the connector that originally would have plugged into the headlight bulb?
