Hi peeps anyone know of a decent auto technician and poss rough cost my poor golf has some electrical issues any advice would b great thanks.

Ha ha Here goes i brought the car 8 months ago reverse lights went the day i brought it it had laser jammers on it took them out took wires from switch tapped them up same with a switch for fog lights in the front bumper, some wires r still there also bulbs keep popping and fuses too. It also has wires from previous owners sounds going to the boot but i took the power lead bit with fuse of the batt, it has a clifford g5 cat1 alarm on it i dont want to play around with wires too much cuase of this. How does that lot sound. Im in east sussex mate.

Sounds like a short. One of cables you have disconnected may still be live. This is probably earthing out occasionally on the chassis when vibrating or something. Either that or where you have re-connected feeds back, you have not insulated them correctly and again, it shorting on something. Worth going over everything you have done To see if anyything obvious is at fault.

Which fuses are blowing ?  And you say wires taped up which wires? What together ? Sounds like above a short, have you still got voltage to switchs ? Did the fuses keep blowing before you messed with the wiring for extra fogs (i guess ) and jammers
