I only paid £120 for mine with 4 decent tyres, they have a few marks but still very usable. They'll be getting refurbed in a few months time which will cost me £170 therefore still costing me only £290! That guy is seriously taking the piss!

I paid £40 for mine,refurbed them myself,cost me £30ish for paint ,so 70 for a mint set  :grin:

i assume they are going for the "no publicity is bad publicity" angle, a la benetton.

i guess it has worked to a degree as we now know the name rimshine. 

but it doesnt really make me want to have them polish my rim
