My MK1 recommendation ...Need help. pics
« on: 01 November 2011, 18:52 »
Hi

I've had this MK1 for close to 20 years and mainly used it on track

I gave it to a local firm to build a proper track weapon but unfortunately they went ping pong

Had a nightmare getting the car back and now most of the bits are back but not all. Engine in bits etc.

I've just had the shell painted but need to a decent VW expert to rebuild it.

The engine is a 16v 2.0 with double dear valves and pistons etc but lots missing

Any Thoughts?

After owning 20 years I would have thought you'd be an expert on it by now...

Sad news about the company that had it originally, glad you got it back!

Do you know exactly what engine it is and when you say its in bits, how badly in bits is it?
