bonnet wrapping
« on: 22 October 2011, 12:15 »
Hey guys, has anyone had their bonnet wrapped in vinyl? either carbon fibre, or something different. Just want to know what sort of excess is left on the underside :)

Stainsey is the one who knows.  He has done his bonnet in carbon fibre vinyl and it looks amazing, there again he kind of does this for a living so it only took him 40 mins to do!

Hello mate what do you mean by excess? Excess of what?

The excess from the vinyl. I imagine it folds underneath but does that not make it untidy with the bonnet up?

Use a heat gun on the edges to fold under specially on the corners.

Have you wrapped anything before?
