i want to put some s3 wheels on my mk3 gti 8v but just want to know how low can i go without any trouble??

what wheels? what size? offset? what size tyres? how low would you like to go? give us something to work with!  :grin:

sorry just thought you guys would know what wheels i was on about  :embarassed:.the mk1 s3 wheels..17's but not sure on the width or offset.was hoping someone would have had these on there mk3.i was looking at lowering it about 60mm

They are 7x17 with a offset of 32 or 37, with 205/40/17 tyres you can lower it about 50mm.
