Will 16v clocks fit an 8v?

In the near future will be looking to ABF my 8v GTi, so would like to fit the set 16v 160mph clocks that I already have! Until such time that I install the ABF, can the 16v clocks be swapped for the current clocks and will they work ok with the 8v Digifant engine?

I think they will work but the rev counter will be out.

Rev counter won't be out as such, just make sure you don't redline your 8v on the 16v clocks

make sure you get the same plug layout as you have in the car now...either 1 or 2 plugs
