Well I'm definitely converted now.  It remember all my settings and extensions etc via the sync feature, so I don't have to remember what I had installed when I format etc now.  Plus it's smooth as silk, FF was running awfully and I'd only just formatted!

No, it's Google's version of open source, which is 'our developers do most of the work, then you guys get to finish up for us'.

Google controls the direction and manages the product.

It's open source like MS Office's 'open document standard' is open.  :wink:

Im surprised your having issues with FF Nigel. I run on it my desktop at home and work laptop with no grief.

Must be all them dodgy films you have on your PC ;)

ive used IE for years, and never really had a problem with it, although i was made aware by some friends that it uses alot of memory and can slow things down, fair enough i thought, ill try firefox as recommended by these friends, well it seems that it wont even let me choose my own homepage, it gives me some sorted of basic google page which isnt even a google page, so i still have to type in google on the address bar to access google, if that makes sense  :rolleyes:

as for chrome, had it for all of 5 minutes, didnt like it at all, messed up my screen, would prefer to use firefox

in short, theres not one i actually like yet!

lol :D seriously !?

Click the Firefox button then options and you can set your homepage from there . . .
