Been quoted ?250 for parts and fitting or this...

They are, its about ?30 to ?40 for a standard fuel filler neck. Its 3 screws, 1 bolt and a jubilee clip if memory serves me correct. Certainly doesn't justify that sort of labour charge!

A friend of mine had to do it on his scirrocco, it was quite expensive , but ?250 is having a laugh!

You're right, I didn't realise they were that much. That stainless one I got for ?30 was more of a bargain than I realised.
