hi looking at buying a de badge front grille for my mk4 and been told some fit better than others does anyone know which are the best fitting ones???

When you find a good one, Do it properly and weld the bonnet  :smiley: The bonnet notches make me die a little bit inside..   :grin:

and the bumper piece, my car bra hides the notch so im halfway there!

I saw a nice mk4 which as a straight edge of the bonnet. And the top of the badge was just chopped off look nicee!.

The bumper piece isn't hard to do. Sand the area back. Plastic weld it in. Filler. Respray the area.  :smiley:

my spray skills are very lacking, but im saving for an r32 bumper so itll get moulded when i get it sprayed (profesionally of course)

as mentioned, do it properly, the proper kit, will be a 2-slat grille, with a metal piece to be welded onto the bonnet and a plastic piece to be plastic welded onto the bumper

See my grill my gr bought covers the bumper without telnet bumper notch seems mine is different to others

They do ones that cover bumper notch ,just need to sort bonnet notch .Mine looks fine . :drool:
AGU 1.8T. Mods done: R32 front bumper, turborev smic, ngk platinum spark plugs, uprated pancake pipe, demon motorsport boost hoses, forge 007 dv, forge engine cover, r-tec stage 1 map ,home made cold airfilter ,run on 98 ron fuel and castrol edge 0w 40 oil. Advanti racing alloys.

FK ones have the bit that cover the bumper recess, but seems the grilles sag abit in the middle.

Believe FK also make the 2 slat one.

I have a r32 style mesh one coming, so will have the one i mentioned first for sale if anyones interested  :smiley:
