Mk2 16v '91 Fuel Pipe
« on: 05 March 2008, 15:41 »
I really hope someone can help as I'm out of ideas. One of the rear fuel pipes has gone on my Golf (VW Part No.191201374) It has a banjo fitting at one end and a nipple at the other. One end attaches to the fuel filter and the other to the fuel line.

I’m hoping someone can help, as all the breakers are out and not a single VAG dealer has one. Any advice? Anyone had the same problem and had to get one made up perhaps?

Thanks.

Speak to Merlin Motorsport - they'll probably be able to sort you out.  The problem with most hose suppliers is that they cover all fluid transfer except fuel in their public liability insurance, so the likes of Pirtek are no good.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

I'm in exactly the same situation as this, does anyone know where I could buy this pipe or does anyone have a decent second hand one I could buy?

As above.

Or speak to Goodrich direct.

Just mailed someone of ebay who is selling the pump and all lines to see if he will sell the line on its own, if not, I may have to buy the lot...
