he doesent say anything about games, im guessing he means something were the reward is greater than some points on a console. i.e. tinkering with the car, or going out and having a kick around or building something ect.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.
