New Golf launch - some years ago

Many moons ago, I think it may have been for the launch of the MK5 GTi or something special like that, VW or a particular VW dealer held a day to show off this model and requested people bring for a show case and photos, a mint Mk1, Mk2, Mk3 and Mk4.

My Mk2 was one of those, but I don't have the photos. I did see them online in maybe 2004-2005 or something like that. Does anyone here remember this or saw it?

Pretty sure they did this again with the MK6. No idea on photos though, sorry.
