hi and got couple issues could do with some advise and what not

hi i am damon i own a mk3 golf 1.4 1996 in blue with a vento front end conversion.

i just resently had a problem yesterday where a the car love heated majorly and i think the fan is not coming on.

couple things to ask rad and fan: if i brought a vr6 fan and rad would it fit and work correctly and what else would i need to convert? and is there much diffrence then the standered on to proformance and health of the car.

2: i want to get a bigger battery but ive been advised i might need a bigger alternator and if so could i get a vr6 altornator and battery? or would the power output for the engine and electrics be to much.

3 my windows and locking and mirrors are manal atm but i have the buttons, has anyone got looms for 3 door electrics and pushers and can i use a 5 door loom but not use the back cables?.

got a feeling the fans are different for most models, wether they fit or not i dont know. sure someone will say. why dont you just buy a fan from the same car?

and why do you need a bigger battery ?

i have 2 amps running and im about to convert to electric. just seemed better to have more amps?
