Window seal part name confirmation
« on: 25 April 2005, 14:03 »
Hi,

I am trying to get hold of some seals for my windows, the seals are the ones that fit the outside of the windows, inbetween the glass and door itself.  I have seen on GSF car parts that they have these seals listed:

WINDOW SLOT SEAL-OUTER LH  G2 Front
WINDOW SLOT SEAL-OUTER RH  G2 Front
WINDOW SLOT SEAL-OUTER LH  G2 Rear
WINDOW SLOT SEAL-OUTER RH  G2 Rear

Does anyone know of these are the seals I am after?

Cheers

would sound about right, they list things by what they call them not what you'd call them maybe. best bet is to phone a branch up, they've normally been pretty helpful in my experience..... except the guy in my local one, possibly the grumpiest person i've ever met but knows his stuff and is literally 5 mins from my house so shouldn't complain too much!

Try on a Saturday when they get the replacement guy in sometimes, Joe.  Down from another branch, but very helpful!

Just outside Lewes.  Pass through your neck of the woods on the way to the outlaws so have popped into GSF a couple of times.

Will keep an eye out.  Likely to be later on this summer, but would be good to get along!
