mk2 vr6 help!!!!

hi im carrying out my mk2 vr6 conversion and im stuck with an electrical issue. The mk2 originally started life as a 1989 gti 16v with early wiring. Ive fitted ce2 wiring from a 1991 mk2 driver and mk3 vr6. i cant seem to get the n/s indicator, headlamp,spot lamp in grill or both side repeators to work but o/s indicator, headlamp and spot lamp is working. when the hazards are activated the tell tale flashes really fast but only o/s works and when using indicators nothing is displayed on mk3 dash pod. If you indicate right the relay buzzes and indictor flashes really fast and if you indicate left nothing happens

had a car in recently with similar issues, turned out to be a blown bulb and the headlight and indicator plugs swapped round.

thanks for your reply, turns out i had mk3 earth wire connected to back of fuse box, swapped with mk2 earth now lights are all working, but indicator tell tales dont work on dash pod and my fuel pump is running all the time
