okie dokie did this today removed secondary air pump and changed flange and temp sender,second pic you can see split in old flange just on the seam,in the third pic whats the rectangular thing in the middle of the shot? it has neuspeed or something written on it,this is the first job on a car  like this i've ever done so i'm well chuffed,now have a coolant system full of lovely g12 and no loud noise at start up

its the gear selector, neuspeed must mean you have a short shift fitted

yeah guy said when i bought it there was one fitted and when i got the car remapped guy asked about it,but i didnt know make or anything but its not very good might see about changing that,for the hole on the side of the airbox i just made a plastic plug and then wrapped some black tape round it until i decide if i'm gonna get an induction kit or not

I feel your pain mate, I've just completed this over the weekend too.  How much trouble did you have getting the SAI pump and bracket out?    :angry:

i just left bracket on,removed the power steering hose that gets in the way of pulling the pump out and bingo,i've had the pump out before to fix the rivets that loosen over time

just left it on in case i need to refit for any reason,also been thinking about flogging it and getting something new i get bored easy this is my 3rd car in 18 months,if i keep it more money will be spent then i'll keep him for a while will see what happens on wednesday this week with mot

After removing the secondary pump / n249 / evap , will I need to reset the throttle body ? As it won't let me go above 5000rpm, Without throwing it's toys out the pram
It's ok I found out I popped a fuse ,
