i wouldnt smooth it, would look too empty of a space without the line. plus if your lowered then any speed bump knock and your risking a new bumper instead of valance

Might be different in England, but you would do well to knock a valance on a rear bumper wouldn't you?

No, you'd be doing terribly to knock a rear, the front is much lower, that would be a major f**k up if you did.

can still be done, my lass is a nightmare for it reversing in to parking spaces and knocking the kerb
