Hi, welcome. Im not joining the arguement as i've never owned a Mk2 to compare. But I love my Mk3 16v to bits and I can definately recommend!!

Oh, forgot to ask. Do you have any pics of the Mexico's you can post up? I think my other half would really like to see them. He too is really into his Oldskool Fords, and has just completed a full restoration on a Mk1 Xr2. Hoping to get it on the road next month.
Got some pics of it (when almost completed) if you'd like to see!

Hayely, I used to have a mk1 XR2 when I was a lad  :grin: so I wouldn't mind seeing some photos of a restored one, mine got pinched and screwed my insurance for a few years  :angry: Stick pics in nonsense if you do.  :smiley:

I had one of those! loved it. Might buy another when i'm rich and stick a 2.0 zetec in it! :evil:
