Wiring heated seats
« on: 14 April 2005, 18:51 »
Another quiz for you...

We've got the wiring loom for my heated leather interior. The seat and switch ends are obvious (says my other half) but he is a bit dodgy about wiring the lives into the system.
Can this be done DIY or would you recommend a professional? Roughly how much would it cost?
(I want a nice warm bum on those cold winter mornings!! )
Ta.

if you got the whole loom and the relays then i guess its just a case of wiring it to the fuse box to an ignition live terminal and earthing it and making sure it is fused and that it isnt drawing to much current from whatever circuit you use. there is prob a spare ignition live circuit on the fuse box somewhere tho
