One of my friends 1.4 mk4 golf is making a lot of squeeking and it seems to stop when you press the brake pedal. Had a look at it today and there is still a good bit left on the pads but theres a pretty big lip on the brake discs on the front that I noticed.
Is that normal? could that be it?
