Help with insurance please for tomorrow

Hi

basiclly I am hiring out a 4x4 Toyota HiLux from a hire company in stockport and they said I have to sort out my own insurance but my insurance company said they wont do 3 day tempary insurance as its classed as a commercial vehicle so tried short term insurance companys and they said sorry we dont insure hire vehicles

Please help as the company who I am hiring off said yes we can insure you for £15 a day so i said great can I have that in writting and she said dont worrie I am the manager here so it all sorted, so i phoned today to triple check the Manager who I spoke to was not in today and now they are saying we are not sure if we can insure you please please help

Sounds like you're better off getting a vehicle from someone else...........

possibly thats my last port of call I thinks, going shell island so wanted something with a high ground clearance
