what would i get with a remap on this and what other mods do you recon 

close to 180bhp & 340lb torque

Only ever 130bhp fitted to the Leon and MK4's    MK5 platform introduced the 2.0 140 TDI engine

Treated right these engines are excellent when remapped

That's good going, was really tempted to get the daily mapped but it's company and worried it'll be picked up during service or something.. I've know peeps who have done it before though!.....

Mazda is 163 standard in a 2.2 MZR motor.. wonder what that could achieve?

Easily another 20-30bhp I would have thought

well the same motor can roll out the factory with 185 so i'm sure you're right and then maybe more!.... nope mustn't even think about it!

like the idea of the remap and a new panel filter do i need to smooth the air box out and what do you think bout the wheel situation as thinking of either painting mine but not sure on the colour or get some cheap second hand ones
