Hi people
I am new to the golf sceen, but not to vws i have a t4 van that i am doing a 1.9tdi conversion to, and 2 classic beetles, 1 is a 1963 that i am doing a body of resto on, and the other is a 1969 1500.

I have just brought a Mk1 gti cabriolet 1985 black special, it is in need of some work for the mot. it has been sat in a barn for over 4 years. it is fairly solid, started right up with a fresh battery and some easy start. once it started to pump fuel it ran sweet as. i have been told that there are not many black specials left. they only made them for 2 years

Came with Montego black metallic paint, black interior with white stripes and either tarantula  or zandvoort wheels.

has anyone seen one of these, i will post some photos when i get some done.

Oh yeah i come from Devon but only a few miles from the Cornwall border, and i am a commitee member on the cvwoc. we are having our 25th jamboree over the August bank holiday, check out the website for details.
