I GOT RID OF THE TOWBAR!!!!!

took bumper off today with a struggle as bolts were ceased and rounded off
so i had ot hammer a smaller socket onto them

then i could not take the towbar from the bumper as the brackets that the bolts go into
were attactched to the bumper so i got a hacksaw
and sawed off the bit that sticks out the back so if any1 goes into bakc of me they will be knackered
as they is a big bar in the bumper but im happy its gone now just need to patch the hole up

what do i patch the hole up with i am left with now i got white tape in the garage but
it will peel off n look tacky lol plastic welding?

oh yeah can i see a pic of the rear bumper on a mk2 (big bumper) as i took the bottom trim off
but i dunno if it was meant to be there to start with as it was twisted n stuff
