I stopped off at a local shot blasting place on my way home from work this afternoon to get a quote for some work and saw a couple of MK2's and a MK3 parked up outside. I got chatting to the bloke who ran the business and turns out he's a VW nut, unfortunately my phone was out of battery so I couldn't take any pics
But between the 3 guys that run the place they had stored:
1 x 2.9 VR6 Mk2
1 x 3.0 VR6 Turbo MK2
1 x 16v Mk3
2 x Rust Free Mk1 rolling shells (one of which was being chopped apart to have a Haldex system installed)
1 x Mk2 Syncro track car running an AAZ from an S3 producing circa 300bhp
And hidden around the back of the garage was a Rallye with a BAM lump and the Haldex system from an R32
Needless to say my Jaw hit the floor when more and more cars kept appearing in various garages....I know it's useless without pics but i'll get some next time i'm down there
