on the way to get new tyres yesterday, i hit the mother of pot holes.
nice hairline crack on the inside of my drivers front alloy.
£35 weld
will this hold up?

claim off the council, get pics of the pot hole, pics of the damage and email them to the council

your claim will take a long time to settle mate. welding not really a fix more of a substitute until you get a new wheel so id say get yourself another rim mate.
hopefully the boys can give you more ideas of what options you have
