I will give another go using the suggestions I have been given and see what happens. If Im being honest I only give it a few passes and expected amazing results but ill give it 4/5 passes and keep at it til i see results.

Just out of interest, how much would it cost to get my car professionally corrected and what would be involved?

for a full correction we charge £350, thats exterior work, inside detail, engine bay etc

no worries mate, see how you get on first. you should see decent results once you get the technique right. but if you have any more problems then pm me.
