so whats the best way to try and avoid it? I run ff and chrome but is there a more secure browser is opera a better choice?
just read it asks to install soemthing, i never use safari but my dad for some reason always does when he uses my mac from time to time mainly when im out!!

but when i know on my mac for any software it will ask me for my password before it installs any software etc

Yup I can see shed load of mac users who have been hit by apples reality distortion field being victims of malware in the future. So many celebrities and wealthy people are using macs and they are under the impression that they are safe. Install some kind of anti virus on osx and be sensible on where you go on the internet

Who the f@ck programs their web browser to AUTO RUN 'safe' files you've downloaded?! :shocked: oh yeah Apple :grin: Crazyness! I can see that 'feature' being removed or disabled by default fairly quickly.
