cheers for the replies! right just an update, turns out its actually a 110 gt tdi, however the condition of the car is superb- it certainly hides its mileage well. it has a full service history although the cambelt was last done 74k ago (3yrs ago) the garage have agreed to change the cambelt, tensioner and waterpump and the antirollbar droplinks (knocking noise from front on test drive) if i pay the asking price (£1700) is the cambelt interval 60k/4yrs? according to the service book its only had one cambelt change! everything about the car feels fine, but that mileage is still putting me off slightly, gonna let them know tomorrow if i want it, however if i buy it i'll have to sell my mk2 gti
